VitreArtus was established in 1990 in response to the conditions then besetting the stained glass industry. The cost of authentic stained glass was ridiculously unaffordable. Imitations, though cheaper and readily available, were generally of poor quality, lacked artistic merit, and did not last long.
Product misrepresentation was rampant as it is still today, with unscrupulous companies taking advantage of public ignorance, passing-off glass overlays, fiberglass and plastic imitations as real stained glass, often times at equal or even higher cost. And thus was born VitreArtus’ mission to produce affordable yet high-quality art glass products which are exceptional in artistry and craftsmanship, guided by the highest professional and ethical standards. Since then it has become one of the major players in the Philippine decorative glass market, with a portfolio that includes the country’s top-calibre architects and interior designers, construction firms, churches and religious institutions. The products found their way to the export market and have gained international recognition.
With the establishment of an international sales office in Singapore, VitreArtus is even more intent in reaching out to as many clients as possible, to enable them to enjoy the beauty and artistry which our products have to offer.
Within our San Pedro, Laguna workshop, VitreArtus has all the resources to meet every ecclesiastical art requirements. The facilities include a well-organized office, stock rooms and production space with machinery and equipment for glass working, woodworking and metalcraft.
