In January 2015, during the Apostolic Visit of Pope Francis to the Philippines, VitreArtus was privileged to provide, pro bono, the liturgical furniture at the four major venues in Manila.
Four Papal Chairs were designed and crafted in its workshop as well as a large Altar, three Ambos, and fifty chairs for the papal entourage.
In addition, various items were provided to furnish the papal sacristies at the Manila Cathedral and Luneta Grandstand (vesting tables, candelabra, lounge chairs, artwork, etc.); and even the crowd control barricades with papal logo!
A chapel cum exhibit area is currently being constructed in San Pedro Laguna to house these Papal furniture.
